Igal Ahouvi is an Israeli businessman and art collector. On the business end, he invests in and finances commercial real estate projects, primarily in the United Kingdom and Western Europe. He also invests in projects ranging from the hospitality sector to technological innovations. Ahouvi is one of the partners in Nielsen Innovate Fund (NIF). NIF is an early-stage incubator and investment fund that specializes in retail, research, marketing, and media technologies.
Since 2005, Ahouvi’s purchases have exceeded the accommodating space as a private contemporary art collection took shape and form. Igal Ahouvi Art Collection now functions as an institution, with an appointed director, a registrar, archive, and storage facilities. Ahouvi hired and collaborated with several prominent art curators, now working with Matan Daube. He continues to seek works of art and experiences that create something unique, that add to the conversation, and that deliver a powerful enigmatic experience.
